An interactive presentation by a Licensed Speech Language Pathologist and a Board Certified Music Therapist to enhance your understanding of emerging speech and language skills and how to support their development. You will leave with songs, games, stories, and strategies to use in your classroom.
Explore Math Mindset and how it relates to struggling learners in math. TEKS scaffolding, PLAAF writing, goal writing, data collection, and SDI in the math co-teach and resource settings will be explored. Teachers will connect to the content to plan future lessons, stations and interventions in math. Ideal for math and Special Education teachers.
Speech Therapists will learn strategies and techniques for adapting books for low verbal and nonverbal students. Participants will have the opportunity to adapt books during the training. This session will be held at RL Anderson.
The session will focus on assisting FALS teachers in implementing the Unique Learning curriculum including data collection and monthly lesson plans. We will also discuss classroom management techniques such as staff and student management throughout the day.
Participants will learn how to effectively use the co-teaching service delivery option for students by combining the strengths of the general education and the special educator teacher to increase and improve differentiation and interventions.
